The Labuan International Insurance Association was registered with the Registrar of Societies on 25th May 1998. LIIA has over 100 members involved in many different aspects of the insurance and reinsurance business – from Labuan Life Insurance Broking companies to International Reinsurance Broking and Underwriting companies, Captive Insurance and Reinsurance companies as well as Management and Accounting services.

Labuan Financial Services Authority

Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) was established on 15 February 1996 under the Labuan Financial Services Authority Act 1996. Labuan FSA is he statutory body responsible for the development and administration of the Labuan International Business and Financial Centre (Labuan IBFC).
